Modern and contemporary, this gem perfectly represents a family bathroom that kept its edge and style.
Initially smaller, we decided to square it up and gain a more room by shifting the corner next to the vanity unit few feet aside. The corridor adjacent was not affected by the loss of space as we also moved the pivot of the door within the room, making it more practical whilst keeping the right proportions.
The shower presented a step to get inside so we opted to remove it and make it level with the Mortex floor, in which we added underfloor heating, making it a walk-in shower that with the freestanding bath, completely transformed the bathroom.
The bespoke walnut interior unit with Carrara marble top, softer and in contrast with the darker wallpaper at the back of the bath and the hexagonal blue tiles, brought the room calmness and style.
